Character Name: Lord John Grey
Canon: The Outlander Series
God House: Heimdall
God Power: Conjuration

Hugging: Lord John is an 18th century nobleman so he might not appreciate you going in for the hug right after meeting him, but he is affectionate with his friends. He'd certainly give you a hug to say hello!
Kissing: See above. Not right away, but if he is close to you, he would definitely not shy away from a kiss on the cheek in greeting. He kisses ladies hands in greeting all the time because he is a gentleman. As far as romance is concerned, though, he definitely expects to be wooed first.
Flirting: See above again, a little. He'll flirt, but he's only going to mean it if you're a man (sorry ladies).
Fighting: Go right ahead, if there's enough reason for it! He's polite enough (read: British) not to rise to instigation at first, but if you continue to poke the bear? He does bite back.
Injuring: If there's reason for it, sure! He's a soldier, and he's not afraid to dirty his knuckles, even if he has since resigned his commission.
Killing: I'd request that you ask me first, but I'm up for any good plot.
Telepathy: Let me know that it's going to happen first, and he might be very cross with you for the personal invasion, but sure.
Mind/Body Control: Again, let me know that it's going to happen and what you intend to do first, but I generally say yes.
Warnings: Lord John has a lot of potentially triggering topics in his own canon that I will note here if you would like me to leave mention out of our CR.

Firstly, his father was murdered, but it was made to look like a suicide. John has a certain amount of baggage about that, since he was only 12 when it happened. Also, the first person that Lord John ever fell in love with died in battle and he's still not entirely over that death. Tl;dr grief plays a decent role in his daily life.

As a young man in the army, Lord John was sexually assaulted. He has since carried a dagger everywhere he goes to make certain that it never happens again.

Lord John was an officer in the British army when a canon he was commanding during a battle exploded. The incident nearly killed him, and he has a hard time around sudden loud popping sounds (canons, gunfire, fireworks). Nowadays we would call this PTSD, but they did not have quite the same terminology for it back then.

He probably wouldn't do a lot of talking about any of these things aloud unless you were close with him, but they might come up in his narration and/or if you opt into any mind reading. If you would like for me to avoid anything of the sort, please let me know and I will respect those wishes! All comments on this entry are screened.
